We rescued Atlas in the last few minutes before he was to be euthanized due to shelter overcrowding, with a foster who really wanted him. However, after 4 weeks, his foster decided to return him even though we didn’t have any other foster who could take him in. He has now been living in the stone cold floor of a boarding facility for OVER FOUR months now! We have posted about him on Instagram; I (Lusiana) have posted about him in various Facebook Groups (only to get hate comments shaming us for rescuing a Pitbull!); I have even contacted rescues in and outside of CA (as far as rescues in IL) to see if they have a foster who can take him in, yet no one has come forward to help him. Please do not give up on him! He is a good boy with a dark past full of neglect and abuse who deserves a second chance with a loving family who understands his trauma.
