Castor Kush

Kush is a 7-year-old Pittbull Mix who was sadly surrendered to the shelter due to a difficult family situation that his owner-at-the-time was going through. His wish of getting a second chance at experiencing a loving home was answered when he was saved from euthanasia on 4/16/2022. He’s now waiting at his foster home for his loving forever home!

In only 1 week he has acclimated so well to life outside the shelter. He is such a sweet dog with a goofy playful side. He has no aggression toward other dogs, and no aggression toward humans. He also does well with kids ages 9 and up. Do not let his seemingly older age fools you! He still loves to play. He would do best in a home with another dog as he wants a friend so badly in another dog! He would also do well in a home that has older kids. He loves walks and walks great on the leash. He gets too curious with cats though, so preferably a home with no cats.

As we still need to neuter him, he will be available for adoption on May 12, 2022 after he has had about a week to recover from his neuter surgery. If you’d like to apply to adopt him, please read our Adoption process & policies before you apply. Our Adoption Process & Policies ensures that he goes to the right home. In the meantime, if you’d like to donate toward his neuter surgery (which costs hundreds of dollars, especially since he is older), please click the button below.
